Established in 2009, Little Pub has taken Connecticut by storm. Are you craving the most delicious and creative meal? This cozy and rustic tavern is a must try. Located on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield, Connecticut Little Pub is a delicious family-friendly spot that will not disappoint.
On Tuesday, April 18th the restaurant hosted a dinner in collaboration with Nod Hill Brewery. The event consisted of five courses and five beers, all which were absolutely delicious. The appetizer consisted of crunchy lime salted Chicharrons paired with a Sunrunner Helles Lager. Next, Carolina Dipsticks were served. This consisted of house smoked shredded chicken and bbq sauce tucked inside crispy egg roll wrappers. The beer paired with this was Biére Ambrée. Then, the Galveston Style Shrimps n’ Rice was served with a delicious Geobunny New England IPA. For dinner, a Brisket Basket was served. Little Pub’s delicious Mac n’ Cheese was topped with perfectly cooked Brisket. This meal was paired with Meadowsong Oak-aged Farmhouse Ale. Finally, Voodoo Bread Pudding was served for dessert. A Semiquaver Bourbon Barrel – aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout.Â
This delicious five course meal was a wonderful experience. The staff members from both Little Pub and Nod Hill Brewery explained each meal and beverage perfectly, making it an educational and delicious experience. This is a must hit spot in Fairfield! • Little Pub and Nod Hill relationship goes back to 2009.
• The first Little Pub was 1/4 mile down the street from where Nod Hill’s current location in Ridgefield.
• 14 years ago Little Pub built tabletops from the lumber company that Nod Hill took over in 2017. Those tabletops are currently being used today at Little Pub’s Fairfield location.Â
