Our guest parade balloon, Daniel Tiger is based on “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” an animated program for preschoolers ages 2 to 4 which airs daily on PBS KIDS. The program builds on the legacy of the pioneering PBS series, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The star of the series is Daniel Tiger, the shy young son of Fred Rogers’ much-loved puppet Daniel Stripe-ed Tiger, who has grown up, married Mom Tiger, and now lives on Jungle Beach. This award-winning series tells its engaging stories about the life of a preschooler using musical strategies grounded in Fred Rogers’ landmark social-emotional curriculum. Through imagination, creativity and music, Daniel and his friends learn the key social skills necessary for school and for life. Daniel stands at 40 feet tall and filled with 3,000 cubic feet of helium!
