The same team that has brought you Walrus Alley in Westport is now bringing their great Southern fare to Ridgefield with Walrus Outpost at Nod Hill  Stationed at the Nod Hill Brewery Biergarten they are open Wednesday – Sunday.Serving up American and Southern foods, their new truck has an expanded menu and soon will be offering smoked brisket and pulled pork dishes. The Walrus Story:”The Walrus story began in 2013 with the desire to offer a truly unique American experience from the mastery of southern-inspired smoking techniques to our hand-selected craft beers, wines and liquors. The original Walrus + Carpenter was serving the artistic community of Black Rock, Connecticut for 7 years. Since then, Walrus Alley has opened in Westport, Connecticut, offering Southern hospitality to the area.
True to the American experience, Walrus is an independent, family-owned and operated establishment. Owner, Joseph Farrell grew up in Westport, went to Fairfield Prep, and continues to be a proud member of the Connecticut-community.”
