The last working dairy farm in Fairfield County, Ferris Acres opened a creamery and ice cream stand in 2004 to rave reviews. The farm has about 85 cows, and 55 of them are milked twice a day. On a daily basis, Ferris offers 27 flavors as well as one sorbet and one no-sugar-added offering. On average, up to 40 flavors may be available.
