About Klassic Kreations Workshops
Kim Larkin presents her fun, educational Klassic Kreations Workshops throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. She is a commercial licensed Chocolatier, a National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy Certified Prof. Aromatherapist, Specialty Coffee Association of America “Foundations” Certified, Tea Aficionado and a lifelong Art teacher. She applies her passion for teaching and her expertise to her wide variety of programs that are multi-sensory.
The following are just a few of the popular programs she offers:
Scents-sational Aromatherapy 101: Covering the health benefits, inc. the powerful anti-anxiety, anti-bacterial, antimicrobial benefits of essential oils and assorted botanicals. As a Certified Aromatherapist, Kim gives a thorough overview of the power of Mother Nature’s gems aka essential oils. In this hands-on workshop, we create a botanical dream pillow and a healing foot soak recipe. *Kim is not associated with any MLM oils program.( This program runs approx. 1.5 hrs.)
A Perky Pairing: Coffee and Chocolate. Topics include the history, health benefits of coffee and dark chocolate, variety of brewing methods, coffee/choc. pioneers, interactive trivia quiz, coffee/choc. pairings. Kim highlights the Specialty Coffee Assoc. “Foundations” content to further enhance the program.
A Pleasant Pairing: Pairing Fine Teas and Chocolate. The history of tea, interactive tea quiz, tea ceremonies, tea and choc. pioneers, tea origins, the health benefits of tea and dark chocolate, food/tea pairings and more are covered.
Downton Abbey Themed Tea and Choc. Pairing, same as above, but also included is fun interactive Downton quiz,and more! Antique teapot/teacup display .
Mighty Aphrodite: A whimsical take on love, friendship and chocolate for Valentine’s Day. Food/beverage/ chocolate pairing, fun trivia and more. Highlighting famous couples throughout history, fun food samplings that are believed to have aphrodisiac qualities in various cultures!.
Celtic Chocolate Program; a fun program celebrating all things Irish including tea, themed Celtic Claddagh choc., Irish chocolatiers, Irish bread and Irish cheddar, it doesn’t get much beddar! Fun overview of the history of Guinness, The book of Kells, Irish lore and more.
